We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. (And as I have noted before, the more common saying was, Life, Liberty, and Property.)
If all men are created as equals, no one is to be above another. There is only one above us, a Creator.
I have been recently reflecting upon the arguments that stem from people claiming that we are a “Christian” nation. There were among our founding fathers deists, not “Christians.” But the conclusion I have come to is that the way the documents upon which these united states were formed, shows clearly that those who wrote, supported and embraced said documents at their conception were likely one (Christian) or the other(deists). For how could we give deference to a Creator, if there were gods? Or if there were none whatsoever? And if we are graciously granted rights (if you notice the founders acknowledge that there are more than the 3 mentioned) by this Deity, the question arises, what, if any, are the requirements of this Deity?
To me, the basis of all law is finding out the answer to this question.
And in judging from the numerous courts across this nation that have the Ten Commandments engraved in their walls or otherwise posted in some manner, it would appear that the basis used to answer my question were the scriptures or as some would say the ethics dictated by a Judeo-Christian heritage. We were to a be people that held to the rule of law.
If there is a Creator, a Being that created us, what do we owe to this Creator? As equals with each other (all created beings) what do we owe, if anything, to each other? What is life? What is death? Or as I like to say, “What's it all about Alfie?” How are we to live our lives upon this earth in the time allotted us?
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. You will note that this is in direct opposition to the Divine Right of kings. But today many preachers would have us believe it still, the Divine right of Kings - only they will use “President” or “government” and site Romans 13. But are they righting dividing the Word?
I note that God Himself gave His people the type of government they wanted; they wanted a king like the other nations, and He warned them, but gave them a king. (1Sam 8) He acknowledged their unalienable right to choose their government.
We have allowed ourselves to become slaves of the state. And by the state, I mean a form of government, not Wisconsin or Michigan. A form of government that “grants” rights as it deems fit, not a form of government that “secures” our unalienable rights. Those of us who have awakened to the understanding of our lost liberty, have found each other through sites such as this one, and through groups that formed to support Dr. Paul in his run for the presidency. We see clearly that our two-party system has become corrupted and is a sham, a front for the oligarchy that now rules. And there are those who are just on the verge of awakening or those who are dimly awakened, who have joined various other groups; I would rate the tea party participants at this stage. All this awakening has prompted the goons to move as fast as they can to pass more “laws” and to declare more “executive orders” to contain those who are their enemies, those who they are even now declaring “domestic terrorists” and “threats to our national security.”
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
We are taxed more than the founding fathers, our bonds of slavery are far more reaching and strong, our list of abuses far greater than theirs. So where is the outrage, where the men of courage and principle? Where are our Thomas Jefferson and John Adams? Dr. Paul has heralded the call to awaken, now where are the Sons of Liberty to lead us back to claiming what is ours?
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. To which we are accustomed. We are the frog in the water that has been heating slowly over many years, but many of us are feeling the heat and jumping out of the pot! Many are going Galt. Some are entering the political arena. Some are moving out of the United States (or at least moving their assets offshore) and many are preparing for the inevitable collapse of the dollar and this nation as we remember it. For this nation is no longer what we are taught that it is, - a republic, a people ruled by law, law that is embraced to protect the unalienable rights of men who are equal under the law.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.
And now it is time to begin to enumerate the injuries and usurpations. I am not a lawyer, nor am I an eloquent speaker or writer. But I am ready to get my liberty back. So on this Sunday, I am praying for those who are well trained in the law, who know history and will stand up for individual rights, to step forward and lead on us into the next step of this journey of reclaiming our liberty.

So just who can you trust?
Recently there have been discussions about Glen Beck and whether or not he is really for all the things that liberty lovers are for and I do not trust the man. I saw how he attacked Debra Medina (running for Texas governor) and I realized he is not a true lover of liberty. He ratings dropped significantly after the Medina interview, and I bet many realized he is just another front man used to manipulate the sleeple and those on the verge of awakening. Now he is saying maybe Ron Paul was right... sorry, but I don't buy it. But what better way to get some more viewers back?
I also saw video of Alex Jones and how he treated some real liberty lovers at a rally they had organized. He treated them as beneath him and not worthy of common decency. He is very suspect in my opinion.

In summary, don't just assume someone who is throwing a few buzz words out there is a real liberty lover. Do some research. Reflect on what they say and what they do and the timing of what they do. Ask yourself what is the fruit of what they do. Is it really in tune with those of us who want to regain our liberty? Or is it an attempt to get us labeled and discredited?

Random Thoughts
Have ya ever noticed how and when language changes? May I point out the changes over the years in the words we use? Thirty years ago who would have thought that we would all know that a mouse is a necessary work tool in the “information age” and everyone would begin to call mail, snail mail to differentiate the difference between it and email? So as times change the language can reflect that, but also as change is forced onto a people, or manipulated into a people, language is used as a tool. I remind you, dear reader, of the novel 1984 and how language was approached and controlled in order to control the populace.
In fact just thinking about 1984, I am feeling a need to go back and reread it, as I sometimes feel I am living it. The best example as of late is the President's push for “mandatory volunteerism.” How can volunteering be mandatory and still be something you do voluntarily? And yet have you heard even one reporter challenge the concept or point out this oxymoron? I have not, but I cannot be everywhere all the time. (Smile.)
Mandatory volunteerism. Could slavery be made to sound any better than this? I think not. George Orwell would have been proud.
Anyway, the point is we are being duped on every side and it is very hard to get at the truth, for in my view there is no more “truth in reporting.” I don't think they even try to report the truth or be objective any more. Which reminds me of how every single time I have had the newspaper report on a function I have attended or quoted me in their publication, they have been wrong. ARG. How can they take such, how shall I say it....liberties? But take them they do...literally. (Can't words me fun!) But I challenge you to begin to pick up on how we are being manipulated with words and how we are being out-right lied to.
I was going to post about the word and concept of patriotism, but perhaps another day...
Most of my readers know that I want my God-given liberties back and someday, by His grace, I will have them. I have taken to saying I was born into slavery, but hope to die a free man.
Which leads me to my main point today. I just got my new copy of Backwoods Home mag and again it has an excellent article addressing our liberties lost, titled “Abandoning the Constitution! (Who's to blame for the loss of rights?)” Written simply, without malice or a preachy-type feeling, it approaches the subject of our Constitution and what it stands for in a very low key, yet informative manner.
Good publication, Backwoods Home. I highly recommend it. But the current article should be spread far and wide to help open the eyes of the sheeple. I do not know if it will be one that they post on their website or not. But I encourage you to go out and find the Jan/Feb 2010 issue in order to have this most excellent article and let it start you on a journey of research to see whether the things that are stated are so...they are, but some of you need to gather your own proof. And some of you just need something to hand to a loved one and say, “I just read this and it really got me to thinking...and I was wondering if you would read it and tell me what you think about it?”

Forced redistibution of wealth verses Charity (Christian theme)
I adhere to the Christian faith and am posting today in that vein. I hope those of you that do not believe as I do, still find truth within.
I read from Acts 4 today and I got to thinking about life and truth. Beginning at verse 29..(HUP's rendition) And now, Lord, take note of their threatenings and grant us to speak Your Word with all boldness; stretch forth Your hand in healing, signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus. They prayed and God answered by shaking the place they were gathered and filling them with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the Word with boldness. Then they were of one heart and one soul and they determined that the things that they owned was not their own, that the things the individuals possessed were to be held in common...and then no one among them lacked. They even sold houses and laid the proceeds at the apostle's feet to be distributed. Great Grace was upon them..... Going on to Acts 5 we see where a married couple decided to sell land and pretend they were giving all of the proceeds to the group, while secretly agreeing to hold back a portion. I am thinking that they wanted to look good, like they were also of "one heart and mind" when they really were not. They both suffered a severe judgement for lying, but what I want to note is what the apostle said in verse 4...When you owned the land, was it not your possession? And after you sold it, was the money not yours also? This clearly shows that God acknowledges that property is to be owned, meaning it is yours and you decide what you want to do with it, and it can be given away by free will. And Free Will is what makes us human. Giving of your substance to see that others have their need met, is called charity or love. It is the way of the Christian's God as I see it. He has given us all we need pertaining to godliness in this life and the next through the giving of His Son and the Holy Spirit.
Now, if property is taken from you (against your will) and given to others without your consent, it is called stealing. And you can take steps against those who stole from you, for stealing is morally wrong and our system is based on these values.
If you enter into a contract with someone to give them your property in exchange for services or anything that benefits you, is it called business. And you enter into business by your own free will and are expected to keep your word and meet your contractual obligations, again based on the Judeo-Christian concept of covenant.
But what is it called when your property is taken from you and given to some goal or person that you do not choose to give charity to and you do not reap any benefit from through contract? Yuppers, it is still called stealing, although most of us have been brainwashed to think it is called taxes. Actually it is Tyranny. The founders of this nation acknowledged that the government only gains its authority by the consent of the governed. And I for one, no longer consent to the form of government I find myself living under; I no longer consent to my money being stolen from me and given to advance immoral goals or given to people I don't personally know and approve to receive my money. The government that the founders gave us, a representative Republic has morphed into a Democracy.
I also pray for boldness to speak this Word of Truth in an atmosphere that labels me a threat to my government. If we are to ever again attain the liberty we had at the beginning of this nation, voices of reason and truth must not be hushed into silence by fear or censorship. I hope many of you out there today will speak up, read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and if you don't understand something, study it, ask someone, google it, contact others with your questions and begin to understand just how far we have become enslaved. Then speak about it to others. Inspire others. Join with us in preparation - of not only the economic turmoil, but the changes in govenment that will also ensue.

CST and Liberty Lost
I know there are lots of people who have not heard of Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST), some who have, and many who need to. It is what I have been taking classes to learn and spending many hours precepting with an excellent practitioner, gleaning all the knowledge from her that I possibly can. Cranial Sacral Therapy is an osteopathic technique that uses the hands of the practitioner to support the client’s body in such a way that the body heals itself. It uses a very light touch. It uses the electrical system of the body. In the way I was taught, it lets the body of the client decide how much treatment it needs and when it needs it.
This past weekend I assisted my Dr. with the first class in the series that she teaches. It was amazing to hear how the attendees took what they were learning and began to apply it to their loved ones after only two days in class and get results. I myself took a fall on Thursday morning and about two hours later began to experience intermittent shooting pains in my right temple. Due to the winter storm, I could not get in to see Dr. and on Friday I had to get my husbands car back to him because mine was in the shop. By Saturday, the shooting pains had ceased but I was so very tired, out of sorts and I felt like my brain was shutting down along with my whole body. I was about to stop what Dr. was doing in her instruction to the class to tell her I needed help, like now, when the other “helper” asked me if I was o.k. I said no and we went to another room where she began to work on me. When Dr. got done with the lesson and gave the class a break, she came and worked on me. I had somehow managed to move the bones of my skull when I fell and it was affecting my brain, and I mean it was no joke. When she was done, I got up from the table feeling as if I had just had a nice nap, and I could think again. What a relief! But it really got me thinking about how, if I did not know what I do about how a fall or an accident can affect you, I could have been a very sick puppie with no clue what to do. I had heard many of Dr.’s clients say that she was a miracle worker or an angel. How she had saved their lives or helped when absolutely nothing else would. How they could not move without pain and now the pain is gone. How they could not stand up straight and now they can. How they could hardly walk and now they are mobile. Now I really know some of what they feel. I am looking forward to the day in the not too distant future when I will be leaving my 9-5 and begin my own practice. This is a skill I can take with me, although I will have to be choosy about the state I live in as some have stupid rules about what one can and cannot do for a living and the type of training you have to have before you can touch someone.
Another choice gone; another freedom we have lost. We are not totally free to choose who will help us regain our health and we cannot choose when we want to take a drug. We must go to a state-approved person and only the state-anointed can “prescribe” a med that we may need.
And if we don’t want to take a drug, we may have to put up a fight. I just had surgery and I did not want the prophylactic antibiotic they had scheduled to give me. Of course they had to check with the anointed one who agreed that I could forgo the drug unless I developed symptoms of infection. You see, I know that they (all hospitals) are working on keeping infections down in surgical patients because it prolongs the hospital stay. The hospital gets paid according to a DRG (diagnosis-related group). For example, you are hospitalized to be treated for congestive heart failure and you stay 2 days. Your neighbor is also put in for the same thing and stays 13 days. You both have the same diagnosis. The hospital gets paid the same amount for both of you. So they make more money the fewer days you are in. So these great educated medical professionals decided that they would shoot every surgical patient up with a strong antibiotic with the hope that it would stop infections. Easy solution and the drug companies make more money to boot. Good for making the hospital more money too, but not so good for the patient who really did not need the antibiotic as antibiotics are not benign.
Do know any doctors that even ask the patients if they want an antibiotic they may not need? I don’t. Most docs think they are demigods, and they certainly don’t want to waste their time explaining things to you. Or give you much of a choice. Most think patients or families that ask too many questions or don’t go along with the doctor’s every wish are “difficult.” If I did not work in the medical field on my 9-5, I may not know about this drug protocol, but I did know, and it saved me money and exposure to drugs that could kill off the good bacteria we all carry around with us that helps us digest our food and keeps our internal ecological system healthy. Please remember, you are paying the doctor/hospital which means you call the shots. You are employing them. You are paying for their expert (hopefully) opinion, but you do not have to take their advice. You can refuse all or part of your treatment. It helps to do so respectfully, but it is your body and you are the owner of your body.
Cranial Sacral Therapy is a wonderful thing for many people, but as with anything there are those who practice it that are not the best and those who are like my dear Dr. So what are you to do? Ask for references from real people. If you don’t get some really good feedback, seek out another practitioner. Some say there are not enough medical studies or enough scientific evidence to prove it really works. I say talk to some real people; the proof is in the pudding. Medical science takes way too long to get with the program. This is the profession that shamed the first guy to say you should wash your hands between doing autopsies and delivering babies. The profession that said it was harmless to x-ray the unborn. That said margarine (full of heart-clogging transfats) was better than butter. I don’t trust them; I do trust real people and their stories.

Most docs think they are demigods, and they certainly don’t want to waste their time explaining things to you. Or give you much of a choice. Most think patients or families that ask too many questions or don’t go along with the doctor’s every wish are “difficult.” If I did not work in the medical field on my 9-5, I may not know about this drug protocol, but I did know, and it saved me money and exposure to drugs that could kill off the good bacteria we all carry around with us that helps us digest our food and keeps our internal ecological system healthy. Please remember, you are paying the doctor/hospital which means you call the shots. You are employing them. You are paying for their expert (hopefully) opinion, but you do not have to take their advice. You can refuse all or part of your treatment. It helps to do so respectfully, but it is your body and you are the owner of your body.
Cranial Sacral Therapy is a wonderful thing for many people, but as with anything there are those who practice it that are not the best and those who are like my dear Dr. So what are you to do? Ask for references from real people. If you don’t get some really good feedback, seek out another practitioner. Some say there are not enough medical studies or enough scientific evidence to prove it really works. I say talk to some real people; the proof is in the pudding. Medical science takes way too long to get with the program. This is the profession that shamed the first guy to say you should wash your hands between doing autopsies and delivering babies. The profession that said it was harmless to x-ray the unborn. That said margarine (full of heart-clogging transfats) was better than butter. I don’t trust them; I do trust real people and their stories.
